Adhesive reinforcement in the road surface
Ervas applied adhesive reinforcement in the road surface of the Mr. Visserplein square in Amsterdam. This square has been rearranged. The existing blind roundabout has been exchanged by a four lane road.
However, underneath the square there are an underpass and a pedestrian's tunnel dating back to the sixties, which were closed off earlier. The new road runs over the upper deck of these tunnels. The original construction was not suited for this. In this case, Ervas provided a swift, cheap and adequate solution by applying adhesive reinforcement in the road surface over the tunnels. This way the constructions of the tunnels are sufficiently reinforced.
